This Privacy Policy explains how Catilabz (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use CatiBookz — our website, web application, and Android mobile app (together, the “Services”).

1. Who this applies to

• Business users — organization staff and admins who use CatiBookz (provided by Catilabz) to manage bookings, clients, POS, stock, and related operations.
• End customers of those businesses — people whose details a business stores (for example name, phone, appointments) or who book online through a public booking page.

Businesses that use CatiBookz decide what customer data they enter. For that business customer data, the business is typically the controller; Catilabz provides the platform to process it on their instructions.

2. Information we collect

Account and business profile

• Name, email, password (stored securely), phone where provided
• Organization profile, locations, roles, and subscription details
• Staff and employee records you choose to add

Business operational data you enter

• Customers, appointments, invoices, payments recorded in the app, stock, expenses, and related records
• Messages and booking requests related to your operations

Device permissions (Android app)

• Camera — to scan product batch QR codes for stock returns and write-offs (only when you use those features)
• Contacts — to optionally import customers from your phone contacts (only when you choose to)
• Notifications — to show alerts for appointments, leave, payroll, and schedule updates when enabled

Technical data

• IP address, device/browser type, app version, and basic usage/diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Services

We do not sell personal information. Payment for Catilabz subscriptions may be handled outside Google Play (for example bank transfer or other methods you agree with us). Card or bank details for your organization’s own customers are handled according to how your business collects them; we only store what you enter into the Services.

3. How we use information

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
• Authenticate users and manage accounts and subscriptions
• Send service-related communications (security, account, and product notices)
• Support, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing

We may share information with:

• Service providers that host or operate infrastructure for us (for example cloud hosting), under appropriate agreements
• Other users in your organization according to roles and permissions you configure
• Authorities when required by law

We do not share your data for third-party advertising.

5. Retention

We retain account and business data while your organization uses CatiBookz and for a reasonable period afterward as needed for backups, disputes, or legal requirements. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us; some records may need to be retained where the law requires.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and secure password storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children

CatiBookz is intended for business use by adults. The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country).

8. Your choices

• Update profile and organization settings in the app
• Revoke camera, contacts, or notification permissions in Android system settings
• Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable

9. International transfers

Our hosting and processors may be located in different countries. Where we transfer personal data, we take steps appropriate to protect it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
